It learns to talk from you

Hold the big button and speak, or type if you prefer. Lumi answers in a speech bubble, babbling in its own little language.

  • Out loud or typed

    Voice and text are equal. Hold to talk, or tap the keyboard and write. Lumi answers in a speech bubble with its own little babble, so sound off is fine.

  • From babble to friend

    A baby Lumi babbles in one to four words and asks what things mean. As it grows, it starts asking “why?”, then cracks jokes, and finally becomes a warm, wise friend.

  • Repeat mode

    Switch to Repeat and Lumi says what you said in a funny little voice. It works offline, it’s free, and recordings are never saved.

Every memory becomes a sticker

Your name, your dog, the drawing you’re proud of, the test on Friday: Lumi keeps what it learns about you in its diary, and each memory lands on the wall as a glow-in-the-dark sticker.

The diary lives only on your iPhone, and you can make Lumi forget anything with one tap.

Growing up together

Egg, baby, little one, teen, grown-up. Each stage brings a new look and a celebration.

  1. Egg

    Pick an egg and keep it warm under your finger until it cracks. Then give your friend a name, and tell it yours.

  2. Baby

    Babbles in one to four words and asks what new words mean.

  3. Little one

    Grows little ears and starts asking “why?”.

  4. Teen

    Gets a tail with a star on the tip, and cracks jokes.

  5. Grown-up

    Wears a glowing star crest. A warm, wise friend.

Take care of it

  • Feed

    It has two favourite foods and one it can’t stand.

  • Wash

    Scrub it clean with bubbles.

  • Sleep

    Turn off the light so it can sleep, and the wall starts to glow.

  • Cuddle

    Pat its head, tickle its tummy, or rest your finger on it for a hug.

Lumi never gets sick and never dies. It’s simply happy when you come back.

Billed monthly or yearly. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.

Lumi+ is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Terms of Use

More answers and how to delete your data

Does Lumi need the internet?

Conversations need an internet connection to our servers. Caring, the mini-games, the wardrobe and Repeat mode work offline.

Are my conversations stored?

No. Your messages go to our server only so that a reply can be generated, and they are not stored there. Your chat history and Lumi’s memories stay on your iPhone.

Can Lumi die?

No. Lumi never gets sick and never dies, and it never guilt-trips you. It’s simply happy when you come back.

Who is Lumi for?

People aged 13 and up. The app asks you to confirm your age before you start.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Lumi speaks English and Russian.

How do I cancel Lumi+?

In your Apple ID subscription settings, or in Lumi: … → Settings → Manage subscription. Turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

How do I report a reply?

Touch and hold Lumi’s speech bubble, then choose Report this reply.
